75 boats ⛵️⛴
The first parade was in 1963, featuring 20 of the 100 boats docked in the marina.
What if it rains? The parade will run rain or shine. However, in the interest of safety, upon the issuance of a small watercraft advisory notice from the Coast Guard, the parade would be cancelled for that evening. This decision will be made at 6:00 pm on the day. A message will be posted on the web site at https://mdrboatparade.org in the extremely rare case of the parade being cancelled.
Yes, our local boat charters offer all types of cruises during the parade.
It’s FREE!
We don’t sell any tickets to see the parade.
Just come and watch at Burton Chace Park or Fisherman’s Village.
The Sheriff’s Harbor Patrol will be in charge of boat traffic and safety during the Parade.
The Sheriff Harbor Patrol and or Coast Guard may do random security checks on vessels.
Vessels not officially in the Parade requiring transit through the Marina during the Parade will require a Sheriff’s Harbor Patrol escort.
We ask to stay out of the parade route and be safe.
We encourage you to enter the parade! 🙂✨
