“Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade” celebrating Jimmy Buffett’s Life and Legacy at this year’s event.
Marina del Rey, CA – October 22, 2024 – The Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade is excited to announce a three-year partnership with Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital, a nonprofit community hospital committed to serving the needs of the surrounding coastal and west side communities. This partnership, beginning with this year’s event on December 14, 2024 will position Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital as the official sponsor of the cherished holiday tradition.
This year’s parade, themed “Margaritaville Holiday” will pay tribute to the iconic musician who brought joy and escapism to millions around the world. The day-long celebration kicks off with festivities at Burton Chace Park from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., featuring live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. At 5:55 p.m., a spectacular lightshow display will light up the night sky, followed by the much-anticipated boat parade from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., when boats adorned with lights and decorations will cruise through the marina in honor of Buffett’s legacy.
